"What does it do ?"

The Vianalyse Test is an easy-to-use home test kit, to be used by women who sense their vaginal discharge is abnormal, to give an initial indication regarding the causes of their abnormal vaginal discharge. A vaginal discharge is abnormal if it is excessive, has an unusual color, or has an abnormal odor, compared to their usual discharge. The test can be performed also in cases of itching or irritation, with a normal discharge.
A positive test indicates an elevated vaginal pH level, known to accompany bacterial and parasitic infections, as well as non-infectious causes (including estrogen deficiency).
A negative test result indicates a probable yeast/candida/thrush infection which can be treated appropriately by visiting your local pharmacy and asking the pharmacist.

In the case of a postive test result ie blue/green staining of the panty liner strip women are advised to consult their doctor for further diagnosis and appropriate treatment. In the case of a negative test result ie probable yeast infection a trip to the pharmacy should allow the woman to obtain appropriate OTC treatment.

Vianalyse therefore helps direct a woman to appropriate treatment quickly.
